Camac

Inspired by the quiet surroundings of the artist residency of Camac, located in Marnay-sur-Seine, France, the three videos show collages of miniature landscapes found on the grounds of the old monastery the residency is located in.
According to the rhythm of the nearby Seine, inspired by the movements of the birds and the air, two of the videos show slowly morphing forms, which are projected on the floor, the ceiling or corners of the exhibition space. They slowly grow and expand until they get smaller again and the looped circle starts all over. The third video blends over miniature details of the buildings with the surrounding nature. The sound is taken from the environment of the residency, slightly modified and looped as well.
